OKAY, LET’S FACE IT, THERE ARE SOME REALLY COOL TRENDS OUT THERE – AND THERE ARE SOME THAT ARE JUST PLAIN, BAD IDEAS.

THIS IS ONE OF THE BAD IDEA ONES...YET, FRIGHTENINGLY, IT IS BEING DONE.

IT’S CALLED EYEBALL TATTOOING.

YUP, People really are getting their ‘peepers’ tattooed in more or less the same way that you would get any other part of your body inked.

Congratulations to all of our Canadian athletes -- they did us proud at the Vancouver Games, and they helped bring us much closer together as a country.  Whether they won a medal or not, we should be proud of every single athlete, male and female, who gave their all and showed the world what it means to be Canadian! 

This is the coolest new product out there -- and whether you're going to Vancouver to cheer on our Canadian athletes, or you'll be cheering from your own living room -- you've gotta have the Maple Leaf Hi-5!!
My friend Jo, who owns Purr Energy Promotions, is selling these for $6 for the small ones and $8 for the larger size.  They're made of felt and are unisex -- and the two sizes mean they'll fit kids and adult hands (even with a mitten on)!

Beesley and I have been talking a lot lately about weight loss.  A lot of people made a New Year's resolution to lose weight, and I myself have been on the Herbal Magic weight loss program since November (and so far I've lost 27 pounds!!).  But whatever your reason and however you're doing it, maybe this will inspire you.  As much as we love to hate the "Octomom" Nadya Sulemon, you've gotta give it to her....she looks fabulous on the cover of the new Star Magazine (that is, if the photo hasn't been altered and she's not lying). She's down to 120 pounds from 270 pounds!!

Talk about a makeover!!  Named one of People Magazine's Most Intriguing People of the Year, Kate Gosselin and the firestorm that was her life, definitely kept us captivated and tittilated during 2009.  But her hair also kept us talking, mostly about how bad the cut was (voted worst 'do' of 2009).  Well, it is no more.  Check out the NEW Kate Gosselin.  The stylists at People spent 20-hours braiding extensions into her hair, to create her new look.  And I must say, she looks mahhhvalous!!
